- Chicken- 1 Kg
- Cardamon- 2
- Cloves- 2
- Cinnamon- 1 inch
- Cumin seeds- 1 Tsp
- Saunf- 1 Tsp
- Bay leave- 1
- Onion- 3 Big
- Tomato- 2 Medium
- Chilli powder- 4 Tsp
- Jeera powder- 1 Tsp
- Tandoori masala powder- 1 Tsp
- Ginger garlic paste- 2 Tsp
- Salt
- Butter / Ghee
- Yogurt
- Chilli powder
- Ginger garlic paste
- Turmeric powder
- salt
Procedure:
Marinate the chicken with above ingredients and refrigerate for 5 hrs.
In a wok take some butter add the ingredients 2-7 and roast until you get a nice aroma. To this fry the onions till light brown, to this add finely chopped tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, jeera powder, tandoori masala and cook till the sides of the gravy oozes oil. Once the mixtures cools down grind to a thick smooth paste.
Now grill the marinated chicken pieces for 6-7 mins and add it to the gravy. Goes well with roti/ghee rice.
