Sweet Garlic Chicken

Tasted at one of the restaurant, must say an awesome starter for a weekend....



Ingredients:

  1. Chicken Leg pieces- 5
  2. Onion - 4 Medium
  3. Red chilli powder- 3 Tsp
  4. Sugar- 1 Tsp
  5. Ketchup- 2 Tsp
  6. Garlic- 1 Pod
  7. Ginger- 1 inch
  8. Ginger garlic paste- 1 Tsp
  9. Flour(Maida)- 2 Tsp
  10. Corn Flour- 2 Tsp
  11. Salt
  12. Oil

Marination:

  1. Yogurt
  2. Chilli powder
  3. Ginger garlic paste
  4. Turmeric powder
  5. salt

Procedure:

Marinate the chicken with above ingredients and refrigerate for 5 hrs. 
Dip the marinated chicken in maida, corn flour and deep fry.

In a wok add little oil, fry the onions to light brown and grind to a fine paste, Then fry the onion paste along with finely chopped garlics, ginger, red chillin powder, ketchup, salt and cook till the raw smell disappears. Finally add the fried chicken and fry on medium flame mix evenly to coat the masala to all the chicken pieces. Serve it hot.
