Vastad Roti (Sweet Banana Bun)

This is another variation of Mangalore Buns / Sweet Bun. Weight watchers can try this :) 



Ingredients:
  1. Ripe Banana- 2 (Any variety)
  2. All purpose flour (Maida)- 5 cups
  3. Cumin- 1 Tsp
  4. Salt
  5. Sugar- 6 to 7 Tsp
  6. Hot oil- Few drops

Procedure:

Mash the bananas in a large bowl. Add the powdered sugar to this followed by salt and cumin seeds.
Gradually add the flour slowly, cup by cup and start to knead. At this point the mixture would be very sticky. Add few drops of oil and continue kneading. The dough is done once the mixture stop sticking to your hand (Adjust with Maida if dough is sticky) .
Keep it covered for 5 to 6 hrs. Roll the dough and keep the base little thick, place it over pan and bake till done .Enjoy with your favorite dip/chutney.
